1. Documentation and safety (make sure that you have all necessary paperwork for your boat)

2. Personal floatation device for each passenger onboard your vessel

3. Replace your fire extinguisher every year

4. First aid kit

5. Flare kit and boat horn

7. Check your batteries

8. Test all electrical connections

9. Inspect your ropes and anchor lines

10. Inspect your hull and propellor for damage

11. Top of all fluids and check for leaks

12. Replace your spark plugs once a year
