Kayak Fishing Adventure... Is this What it Means to be an Outdoorsman?

My second time ever on a kayak, and this time around did not go as smoothly as the first :P The day started off pretty well, as my sub Steven and I hiked back into the woods with his kayaks looking for the first spot to fish. We traveled across a stream and through some heavily forested areas, but we managed to find the pond after about half an hour or so. The fishing was solid at the first pond, with him and I each landing 6 bass on a senko.

Here's where things got interesting... We decided to make a move to a much bigger lake once the sun came up and the pond bite slowed down. The first stretch of the hike put us along the highway for about 3/4 of a mile with an 8' kayak and 10' kayak. We carried them most of the way but dragged them a short distance once we got tired, big mistake... You'll have to watch the video to see what other obstacles get in our way next!

Time Fished: Outside from 7 am - 3 pm, but fished about 2 hours total

Air Temp: High of 87 degrees, low of 73 degrees

Water Temp: 82 degrees

Water Clarity: Pond - 24 inches, Lake - 30 inches

Conditions: Variable, rainy in the morning, sunny with winds from the west up to 11 mph in the afternoon
