GIANT SHARKS & LOST RODS -- Day in the Life as a Saltwater Fisherman (ft. BlacktipH)

Fishing doesn't always go as expected, especially in the ocean! After a phenomenal kingfish trip the day before, BlacktipH and I decide to go back out with Slob City Charters in hopes of hooking into a trophy sailfish. The fishing didn't pan out as expected, with the kingfish all but disappearing, but we did end up hooking into a few unexpected MONSTERS!!

-30 lb monofilament (trolling)

-Borrowed rods/reels from Slob City Charters and BlacktipH

Date: December 8th, 2016

Primary Pattern: Slow trolling the same drift as the previous day for kingfish, then transitioning to fishing over a sunken wreck.

Time Fished: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

Air Temp: High of 76 degrees

Water Temp: ~70 degrees

Water Clarity: 20+ feet

Conditions: Partly cloudy with winds from the NW up to 10 mph
