Fishing an OASIS in the California Desert!!! (MTB 1v1 Challenge)

First time ever bass fishing in California! While staying in Palm Springs, I learned the hard way that there's literally no fishable bodies of water in the dry desert, so I traveled a short distance to a nearby city to fish a private pond that one of my subs has access to. I heard the pond is loaded with quality fish, AND it's catch & release only, but with the recent algae bloom and full moon, the fishing turned out to be quite tricky...
