Bass Fishing in the Early Days

Fishing with my buddy Jesse at Lake Elkhorn in Columbia Maryland. Jesse has pulled numerous 5 and 6 lbers from this lake with his biggest being a 9 lber. Unfortunately, we couldn't get any of those big fish to bite today but I did manage to catch 4 bass to avoid the skunk.

Location: Lake Elkhorn in Columbia Maryland

Time Fished: 6:30 am to 10:00 am

Air Temp: 45-58 degrees

Water Temp: 61 degrees

Conditions: Sunny with gusts of wind up to 12 mph

Lures Used: Baby Brush Hog (green pumpkin - tail dipped in JJ's Magic), strike king KVD squarebill 2.5 (sexy sunfish), and Strike king 3x ZTOO (grey glimmer pearl)
