Jerkbaits to Finesse Fishing - Unlocking the Bass Pattern at Loch Raven Reservoir

After a weeks worth of chilling rain, I head out for some bass fishing at a local reservoir. The water temp dropped from 65+ degrees to the low 50s. After trying a couple different tactics, I find a successful pattern and catch my biggest bass ever from this body of water!

Primary Pattern: Fishing the main lake, working the first drop-off with jerkbaits for pickerel and finesse tactics for bass in 7-9 feet of water

Time Fished: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

Air Temp: High of 68 degrees, low of 57 degrees

Water Temp: average 56 degrees

Water Clarity: 36 inches

Conditions: Mostly cloudy with winds from the south up to 6 mph
