-Strike king red eye shad (1/4 ounce, baby carp)

-SK Tour Grade Finesse Football Jig (PB&J 1/4oz, zoom baby brush hog trailer)

Rod/Reel/Line used:

-Shimano JDM Chronarch C14+ (6:2:1 - 14 lb sunline sniper fluorocarbon) with a Shimano Crucial 6'8" med/extra fast

-Team Daiwa Steez 103HA (6:3:1 - 20 lb suffix 832 braid, 15 lb seaguar tatsu leader) with a BPS Johnny Morris Carbonlite micro 6'6" med/fast

Primary Pattern: Covering shallow water with a lipless crankbait, then dissecting a deep brush pile next to the shoreline with a jig

Time Fished: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Air Temp: High of 59 degrees, low of 44 degrees

Water Temp: 48 degrees

Water Clarity: 18 inches

Conditions: Bluebird skies with winds from the SW up to 10 mph
